Who should all do the skipper training?
It is inevitable for every new sailor who just passed the exam and wants to rent a boat. No matter how easy driving the boat looks like, it certainly isn’t. Skipper training is also for everyone who wants to learn more, master the technique and renew their knowledge that is easy forgotten from season to season, from one boat rental to another charter boat.
What can happen if I rent a boat at a charter company and simply don’t know the boat parking technique?
The boat parking is the most demanding part. In order to park a boat safely, it is necessary to know different parking techniques so you can easily avoid possible damage to the motor boat from charter.
We have been renting sport boats in Croatia for over 10 years and our longtime experience tell us that 99% of damage to a chartered boats, yachts occurs due to lack of knowledge for parking, poor estimates of distance and failure to include other potential hazards.
Not only that you can save a considerable amount of your deposit, with our driving school, because you reduce the risk of any possible damage that may occur due to unprofessional management of a sports boat, with skipper training you can also, ensure a safe vacation to park your charter without fear in any marina regardless of weather conditions.
After mastering the parking of the boat or yacht you rented, it is necessary to master the technique of anchoring, more exact the technique of entering the bays where some boats are already anchored so that they would not be hindered.
Also to have a safe distance and rest on your boat without fear of approaching or hitting another vessel if the current in the sea changes or the wind change its direction.
Skipper training consists of two parts. The first part is theoretically in our office and lasts about an hour, and the second part is practical, on board, and lasts as long as it takes to master the matter with various techniques. All skipper trainings are individual.

BOAT TRANSFERS
Boat transfer!
It doesn’t matter where you are staying, as all you need to do is to secure a mooring place and we will take care of everything else. If you are staying outside Biograd, where our office and base is, we can offer you several options.
One is that we pick you up at your place with our van and take you to the base where you can take over the boat. Our van has a capacity of 5+1 sitting places. In that case every transfer to 10 kilometres is free.
Transfer over 10 km is charged according to the official price list. The other option is that we personally deliver the vessel at the required address. In that case you have to pay the cost of the transfer, which includes fuel consumption to the required address. You can see our rent-a-boat “Biograd” everywhere. In Trogir, Split, Vodice, Tribunj, Pirovac, Murter, Pakoštane, Zadar and various camps.
